Pharmacy

Our in-clinic pet pharmacy has most of the medications and health products your pet might need. If something isn’t in stock, we’ll happily order it in for you.

How does your pharmacy service operate?

It’s simple! After your vet recommends a medication, you can grab it right from our clinic pharmacy. If we don’t have it on hand, we’ll order it for you and let you know as soon as it arrives.

Is it possible to renew my pet’s prescription without coming in for a visit?

It really depends on the medication, your pet’s health, when the prescription was written, and how recently we have seen them. If it has been more than 12 months since your pet’s last visit, we will need to bring them in for a quick check before renewing anything. This helps us make sure the medication and dosage are still right for your pet.

Can you refill or renew a prescription that was originally given by my previous vet?

Yes, absolutely. We can renew a prescription from your old vet as long as your pet has had an exam with one of our TVS Animal Hospital veterinarians in the last 12 months.

Can you help renew my pet’s tick or heartworm prevention prescription?

To renew your pet’s tick and heartworm prevention, we just need to make sure they have had a recent exam and the right tests. We also need their current weight so we can give them the right dose.

Do you have prescription pet food available?

Yes, we stock several prescription diets, such as gastrointestinal, urinary, and hypoallergenic foods. If you need something else, you can order it through our online store at the top of the page and have it delivered right to your door. If we do not carry a specific food, we will help you get it without any hassle.
