We’re TVS Animal Hospitals, an independent, Canadian-owned veterinary practice caring for dogs, cats, and the people who love them across Toronto. We’re not part of a corporate chain, which means every decision we make is about your pet and nothing else. To us, your pets are family, and we look after them the way we’d want our own to be looked after.

Our story
Our story started in 2009, when our founding clinic opened its doors in North York. Word spread, families kept coming back, and the practice grew. In 2025, we brought our clinics together under one name, TVS Animal Hospitals, with two locations: Toronto North in North York and Parliament in Cabbagetown. Same people, same values, same care — now easier to find close to home.

What We Believe
Good veterinary care comes down to trust, and trust is built on honesty. That belief shapes everything we do.
Education over pressure
We explain what’s going on and what your options are, and we never push procedures your pet doesn’t need.
Transparent from the start
You’ll always know what to expect, including the cost, before we go ahead.
Relationships, not transactions
We follow up, we remember your pet, and we’re here for the long run.
Easy to reach
Talk to a real person by phone, text, or email, 7 days a week, with evening hours when you need them.
The people behind TVS
Our team is a close group of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff who genuinely love their work, and it shows in how they treat your pet and you. Our practice was founded by Behrooz Tamjidi DVM, who leads our surgical team and set the tone of honest, relationship-driven care we’re known for.
